SIMI WRITES: OPPORTUNITY

Who says opportunity comes but once? I don’t attest to that. Opportunities comes by and by…not once. Opportunities often comes wrapped as problems. So, my dear whenever you are faced with problems or obstacles, see them as a means to explore hence opportunity. Problems pave way for creativity. Your creative ability is put to test here. After some in depth thinking, a solution or answer will definitely spring up. Who says problems aren’t good after all?

What’s going on in your locality?

What’s not right?

You are the solution to that problem besetting your locality.

You can’t sit and wait for miracle to happen
Don’t reflect on the “whys”, think about the “hows” and “ whats” that can be implemented. There’s no job reserved for anyone anywhere except for connections… you’ve got to stand up on your feet and create that job you want.

Opportunities aren’t lost; someone else picks up those that are missed. Don’t let them slip through your grasp. That opportunity you let go will be harnessed by someone else. So, you see opportunities are never lost, they are moved.

Opportunities are everywhere. They are not restricted to places or regions. There’s an opportunity where you are waiting to be utilized. All you need do is open your eyes and think deep to locate them.

We shouldn’t belittle opportunity- be it small or great. You don’t know the one that will be stepping stone to your greatness. Jumping at several small opportunities may get us there more quickly than waiting for one big one to come along. See everything- negative, pressure, challenges as an opportunity to rise.

QUOTE: Sometimes opportunities float right past your nose. Work hard, apply yourself, and be ready. When an opportunity comes you can grab it- Julie Andrews Edwards
