we all have it
physical or emotion
on our skin or our heart
it alter our beauty
dictate our emotion
brand our character
and if we give more time
they become the home of our future

my body bear its own
i was tattooed by fire
my thigh speak of gun shot
believe me
i still hear the sound of the shot
i still feel the heat of the fire
i still fear
i still panic
they lace my body
but not my future

we may not all have it on our body
but we all got it on our heart
heart break
unwanted pregnancy
untamed vengeance
so dangerous to change us
so radical to dominate us
so powerful to cage
with a purpose of altering future

pancake might hide it
smile may overshadow it
many drink to forget for a night
some crack of drug
yet its still there
we all got it
it smile back at us when we are lonely
it overshadow us on our bed
it call our tears sometimes
and bottle up most fame
bringing memory that scream ‘you can’t’

expose it all!
purge it out
shine light on it
face it and call it the real name
sell out
don’t give the throne
let it all go
don’t let it trade your future
remember scars are for testimony
not to be celebrated like gods
for you have greater tag on you
you bear the mark of the ALMIGHTY.
