You can take my wealth
with no cotton for my bed
you can break my heart
or made my walk through the valley of the shadow of death
you can wrestle me to doom
or demote me from prince to beggar
but one thing is sure
you can never take my praise
You can made home hell
and my journey a loss
you can steal my gold
and trade my diamond
you can made the day dark
and my summer a basket of snow
you can take all with nothing to hang on
but you can never take my praise
Even when the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grape on the vines
even when the olive trees do not produce
and the field yield no crops
even when the sheep disappear from pen
and there are no cattle in the stand
i will rejoice because of the Lord
i will be happy because of the God who delivers me
you can take all with your grip on future
but not and never my praise
