EMMANUEL’S CORNER: TATTOOED

Dear Jane

The blood in my pen

Seems to change to

The skin of a chameleon

My moustache seems

Thirsty of grey hair

My phone now knows

Your heart beeps

Today you said yea

Again! Nay!

Even the dew seem shy

Of my plea and prayers

When will you change and

See my hunger stricken bone

Not for food, water or fruits

But for a smile beneath

Broken shadows

Esther

Juliet

And recently Sharon all

Voted for my care dotting

A line in my minds

After tonight I will not

Feed hope again

Rather I will eat every bite

That crosses by teeth

Yours frustrated soul

Madison.
