Abúlée Tèmídayò was an abode of peace
glory swim from their past to their present
with a guarantee future at their hands
they sing the song of unity
dance the tone of love
virgin was their pride
strong men their strength
wise men stand by their gate
peace their shinning star
Abúlée Tèmídayò was a dreamland for the foreigner
and the joy of the inhabitant

until death struck
not the old but the young
mama’s eyes build fountain of tears
fathers bury their tomorrows ……….their futures
today’s mourners comfort those of yesterday
no home could comfort each other
yet every night enemies strikes
taking the glory of the land
what a pity

children run to grave
old ones were cut short
strong hearts become weak
suspicion rule the air
neighbors become enemy
peace run away
the wall of unity collapse
questions were asked
none to answer

but at the far east of Abúlée Tèmídayò
enemies camp with strength
they enjoy victories over victories
with pride they boast of millions they’ve sent to early grave
tears of agony serve as their water
blood of futures, their sacrificial power
and cry of mamas and papas, their music of joy

heart of the wise men could not take it again in Abúlée Tèmídayò
they consult ỌRÀNMÍYÁN
the IFÁ priest
secrets were revealed
the truth glow like the day
they knew how to capture the killer
strong men rise to do the job
but ỌRÀNMÍYÁN forbid them
this is the quest for the wise not the strong
because it take nothing but wisdom

they plot their strategy
they made a disinfected net
with many guns of insecticide
they deny their eyes the joy of sleep
they hid all through the night
ready to solve the mystery of the land
all because of their future

enemies rain like before
they entered houses with confidence
but met their ordeal
they were captured, beaten, tormented
and lead to OJÚDE ỌBA
for people to see the face of the master killers
guess who these killers are
they are no one but…..
also known as……….
the little but dangerous and dreadful devil
the leader confess their mode of operation
how their reproduce and work
stagnant water and unclean environment are their power
and how they freely enter every home without net
‘you sacrifice your kids to us through your dirtiness’ he said

all heart become weak
they count their loss
and think of their lost future
with anger they clear all stagnant water
burn all debris
clean their environment
raid and burn the camp of MOSQUITOES
sending their memory to history

on the seventh day…..
the day of jubilee
the king sentence the culprits to death by hanging
joy was restored
peace came like sun
wall of unity was rebuild
and Abúlée Tèmídayò became a heaven again
