Hi, It took a very very long time to get here. Okay, maybe not very very, just one very should do. Most times in our lives we let the fear of ‘What if’ stop us from doing what only WE can do. I am a firm believer in the theory that we can do anything we want to do. I know it may sound like one of the often heard ‘cliche’, but hey, it really does not matter whether people perceive it as being a general saying or not. Instead, you should try to be focused on how it can work for you.

If we never try to take the bold step then we can never reach our crown. And oh, how I so desire to reach and stretch to the best of my potentials. I guess that’s why I am learning to never ever limit myself, afterall, my life is my own.

This brings me to the number one lesson. I can’t help but think about my friends ridiculous stares when I tell them ‘This is your number 5 lesson in life’ when I have not even told them number 1 yet. How did I jump all the way to 5….Okay, back to what I was saying, Now listen, always trust the process and never despise small beginnings. Baby steps are all you need and like I learnt in one of my all time best movie, all you need is just ‘Five (5) seconds of courage. Take that Bold step today. It could be anything. It could be signing up for that extra class you know you need, or getting the laundry done, or even starting that business you have been meaning to set up, or finally saying ‘hi’ to that girl or guy you know you like. Always trust the process and at the end you will realise it wasn’t so hard afterall.

Oftentimes than not you just need to believe you can do it. It will definitely seem hard at first, the world will surely make you feel you cannot reach that goal, there will be bad belle’s and haters all around and some of your closest friends will betray you. But are those really enough reasons to give up before you even get a chance to start? Your life will not live itself by itself, you need to stand up and live your life for yourself, you need to arise and do what God has put in you to do, you need to get up and take up the challenge.

The road will be bumpy, the ride will be rough, the trials will be challenging, it would seem better to just give up and your life will feel like it is no longer your own. But hey sweetheart, breaking news right here, your life is your own and only you is accountable for every single action you take. It will take a while, but all you need to start is just 5 seconds of courage and after it all, you will be thankful you took that baby step you never knew would yield such mighty fruits.

Most important of all, LOVE yourself completely, effortlessly and unapologetically. Nobody can love you better than you love yourself. When you love yourself, you pave the way for people to love you more. When you love yourself, you would definitely be confident in all you lay your hands upon. When you love yourself, your heart desires will then come your way. So I challenge you today to stand up, be not ashamed, be not tired, be fearless, be a King ,or a Queen, or be anything you want to be, be bold and be beautiful and with your heart set, take your 5 seconds of courage. Always remember, you need to make something out of your life.

Welcome to becoming YOU.
